Home remedy is a cure or treatment of diseases employing medicines made at home using vegetables, fruits or herbs. The biggest advantages are they have no side effects, are simple, inexpensive and have no chemicals. Using home made methods in day to day life to stay fit and healthy is a great idea and catching lot of attention these days.

Home made remedies use chemicals naturally present in spices, herbs or foods. Natural remedies can effectively treat various aliments with correct and regular usage. General ailments as hair fall, dandruff, acne, cuts, burns or headache can be treated easily and quickly with home remedies.

Home remedies may or may not have exact medicinal properties, some may be effective in few doses and some take a long time to show results. Recepies of home remedies has been followed by generations.  Ayurvedic, Chinese and European old literature had discussed a lot about medicinal remedies. Some of the common home remedies are duct tape for broken bones, chicken soup for respiratory infections, willow bark tea to cure headache and fevers.

Home remedies have become a popular alternative to conventional medicines with no harmful effects. We can deal with minor ailments as acne to major diseases as asthma or diabetes. Home remedies do not have any scientific explanation but has been observed very helpful in treating many diseases.

Although they are cheap and have almost no side effects but they are not sure shot solution. The results may vary from person to person. Home remedies have been an important part of Indian homes as these remedies has been passed on to us from generations to generations known as grandma’s remedies.

No artificial or synthetic product is used in these medicines in fact food from kitchen as mint, honey, ginger or turmeric with some oils is used. Home remedies are a kind of holistic cures to life’s little health problems.
